Increased access to affordable,

healthy food in low-income neighborhoods.

The Food Access Project was designed to find new and innovative solutions to tackling food insecurity challenges. The program provided curriculum, connections, and mentorship to help 10 selected ventures—both for-profit and nonprofit—improve access to healthy food across low-income communities.

1 in 6 Denver households live in low-income areas with no access to fresh food. This program is charting the course from food deserts to food access. In partnership with the City and County of Denver, Office of Economic Development, Uncharted Food Access aims to increase access to affordable, healthy food in low-income neighborhoods across Denver, Colorado by providing entrepreneurs the resources, connections, and training they need to scale their impact.
